 Young Americans for Peace’s purpose is to educate young Americans about noninterventionist foreign policy and just war theory, through a Catholic faith-based lens, for the sake of promoting peace.

WHAT WE'RE FOR:

• Bringing ALL the troops home
• Sharply CUTTING the DoD/Pentagon’s massive budgets
• Eliminating ENTIRE federal bureaucracies that profit from the war industry
• Ending ALL corporate welfare for defense contractors
• Tribunals for Republican and Democrat political leaders guilty of war crimes abroad
• Reparations from war profiteers to veterans whose lives have been destroyed

WHAT WE'RE AGAINST:

• ALL foreign military aid
• ALL military bases occupying foreign lands
• ALL clandestine federal regime change efforts
• ALL aggressive rhetoric and demonizing of supposed foreign adversaries
• ALL foreign and domestic spying operations
• ALL efforts to expand ”War on Terror“ policies to the homeland

We do not endorse candidates or parties.

We seek to educate students on our policy position and work to advance this position through various forms of activism, including speaking events, film screenings, rallies, petitions, tabling/flyering/stickering, & more.
